I have to say, in the last few months of getting to know you, you sure know a lot of people around Chadds Ford. How did that happen?

My Dad, Alan Sinton, moved us to Mendenhall in 1968 and opened Alan Sinton, Ltd. in 1970. “Irish,” as he was known, had a great work ethic as a mechanical tradesman and served many local industrial plants, factories, churches, restaurants, and Residential homes. A few notable projects include systems for the Empire State Building, The Brandywine River Museum, Phillips Mushroom farms and Wyeth family homes.

There are quite a few HVAC businesses in the area, how can a resident decide one from another?
First, if you want the most efficient reliable system available, which is Geothermal, we are hands-down the best available option. It’s been our focus for decades, not something we dabble in or have picked up to be on trend. Second, there are a lot of fly-by-night shops just trying to sell units. Look at online reviews, look to see if the company is present in the community, are they properly accredited, and also, do they provide free estimates so you know what the system is going to cost?
